HOW TO BE A CMA?
FIRST STEP IS FOUNDATION COURSE
After complete 10 +2, one can apply for foundation course
CMA FOUNDATION SUBJECT:
1.Fundamental of economic and management
2.Fundamental of Accounting
3.Fundamental of laws and ethics
4.Fundamental of business mathematics and statistics
QUALIFYING MARKS FOR CMA
FOUNDATION:
A candidate shall be declared to have P asses the foundation programme examination if he / she obtains a minimum of 40 marks in each subject and 50 in aggregate of all the subject put together.
INTERMEDIATE COURSE:
After graduation or after clearing the foundation course one can go for intermediate examination. For appearing in intermediate course, it is mandatory to under go postal or oral tuition this course has two group 1,2
FINAL COURSE:
After clearing the intermediate examination one is qualified for final examination this course hal also two groups group 1 and group 2
Now it is mandatory to under go three years training to be a qualified cma
WORK PROFILE FOR CMA:
A cost and work accountant establishment budget and standards evaluate operational efficiency of an organization and effectiveness of production and service management formulate the profile planning programme guide managerial decisions and thus render valuable assistance to the management successful cma holds important decision as that of managing director, finance director, accounant, cost controller and chief auditor in various sectors.
Cost and work accountant deal with collection classification analysis and interpretation of cost related data to help the top management in making the right decision at the right time they look into costing if products and services, planning and implementation of effective cost management system, inventory control, optimization of cost, associated with various aspects, investment analysis, project management internal audit of business transactions etc.
CMA Foundation is to be held twice in a year in june and december.
